ABSTRACT
The article discusses the category of pseudonyms that cover a specific area of the group of auxiliary nouns in poetic onomastics. Here are the stylistic features of nicknames used in prose works written during the in-dependence period, lexical-semantic groups of meanings. The stylistic features of pseudonyms include names that are used in works of art and provide addi-tional information about the image. They also play a role in the creation of imagery in the artistic style. In addition, nicknames play a role in increasing the ar-tistic value of works and enriching their internal content. In short, the secret signatures used in prose are related to the content and idea of the work.
