"Teaching of Azerbaijani Language and Literature" is a peer-reviewed, Open-Access scientific and methodological journal that publishes scientific articles in all areas of linguistics and literary studies in Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and Russian, four times a year. The journal publishes scientific and methodological articles related to the study and teaching of Azerbaijani literature as well as foreign literature.
The journal is intended for the entire scientific community, linguists, philologists, doctoral students, masters, teachers of the Azerbaijani language and literature, students majoring in this field and a wide range of readers interested in this field.
Aims
- To study the methodology of teaching of Azerbaijani language and literature (as well as foreign literature) and promote modern teaching approaches;
- To investigate existing problems in the field of research and promotion of the Azerbaijani language and literature (as well as foreign literature), to identify ways to solve these problems and innovations in these areas.
- Protecting the purity and functionality of the mother tongue, instilling the richness of the language into the society through education;
- To share new approaches and research results on language development and literature, and to promote teaching methods that meet the requirements of the modern era;
- Investigating and discussing innovative approaches related to the application of modern technologies and digital resources in the teaching of Azerbaijani language and literature;
- Conducting research on the comparative analysis of the Azerbaijani language and other languages, examining interlingual comparisons in terms of structure, semantics, syntax, lexis, terminology, methodology, and dialectology.
- To conduct research on the comparison of Azerbaijani and foreign literature, to present comparative analyses on the structural and thematic features, writing styles and poetic directions of literature.
- Promoting Azerbaijani literature at the international level and strengthening its integration into world literature;
- Development of creative thinking abilities of students and teachers and promotion of innovative approaches in language and literature teaching;
