Ashug Alasgar and our literary language

ABSTRACT
The article deals with the stylistic issues of the Azerbaijani literary language. For this, a linguistic analysis of the poetry of Ashug Alasgar is carried out. Ashug Alasgar is valued as an outstanding artist and master of rhetoric in Azerbaijan. It is said that it serves our language as well as literature. Some words used in the Azerbaijani language in the pre-Ashug period are considered. Linguistic and stylistic facts in the work of ashugs are revealed and sci-entific and theoretical opinions about them are expressed. Ashug Alasgar is valued as an ashug that enhances the naturalness and beauty of the Azerbaijani language. In his poems, attention is paid to various moments, artistic words and expressions used by the ashug are shown. The scientific ideas in the article are based on language and style materials.
