Speech errors and speech defects

ABSTRACT 

One of the issues studied by speech culture is speech errors. In the process of communication, in simple spoken language, a number of errors in the pronunciation of words manifest themselves, which are emerged by various phonetic phenomenas. Speech errors manifest themselves at all levels of language – phonetic, morphological, lexical, syntactic levels. Speech errors include violations of language norms, pronunciation errors, mistakes in writing, mistakes made due to misunderstandings, mistakes caused by not knowing or not understanding the words, etc. Speech errors include misunderstandings, which often lead to comism. Writers use comic misunderstandings for certain stylistic purposes. The terms of speech errors and speech disorders are often confused. Speech disorders are defects caused by certain diseases and mental problems. This includes different types of stuttering. Although both events occur in connection with a certain psychological situation, they should be studied as separate speech occasions. The article focuses on violations of language norms, pronunciation and bor-rowing words.
