ABSTRACT
Integration into the world education system caused a significant change in the content, organization, and methods of education. From this point of view, familiarization with new learning technologies, efforts to apply them, especially attract attention. Unfortunately, clarifying the essence of these technologies, how useful they are for application in our schools, is not investigated as much as in our pedagogical science. Carrying out special research in this direction does not meet the requirements of the day. It is clear from experience that what is mastered on the basis of trainings and translation materials is absolutely not enough for efficient organization of practical work. The article was written based on the study of research works on the case-method, which is considered one of the new technologies, and the ideas in them were expressed as appropriate. The main goal is to draw attention to the important features and contradictory aspects of the case-method.
