ABSTRACT 

Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli's large-scale works with their ideological and artistic values should be compared to “Giz mektebinde” (Girl's school), “Divane” (Crazy), “Bir gepik” (A coin), “Juma akhshami” (Thursday), “Borjlu” (Debtor), “Nahag gan” (Wrong blood), “Toy” (Wedding) and so on the social problems of the time − backwardness, ignorance are reflected in his stories. At the beginning of the last century, the literary trends were directed towards national revival and new human education in these works, in which children took part as well as adults, whose themes were taken from real life and environment; that is, along with Sultanmajid Ganizadeh, Abdulla Shaig, Firidun bey Kocharli, who awakened and strengthened this national spirit with their literary and artistic experiences, Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli's ser-vices in this field are also great.
