ABSTRACT
The new direction of linguistics is a special aspect of the modern science of language, a special subject, as well as the study of laws and regularities of the function and functionalization of language units in speech. This direction studies the further development of the structure of the language system, its new principles, determines the interaction of elements and the functions surrounding speech. The functional approach to the study of the language, language units, and the change of means of its elements is related to the general development of the system theory. Thus, the study of language in functional linguistics changes its direction, in this process it brings out the functional qualities of language elements, describes the language in that direction, and becomes clear with its various sides in the structural-systemic and functional aspect.
