Factors ensuring the expressiveness of reading in primary grades

ABSTRACT
One of the important qualities of reading in primary grades is its expressiveness. In primary grades, stu-dents' acquisition of the initial habits of expressive reading depends on the extent to which the teacher himself acquires this habit. Here, the teacher should see what he is reading with the help of creative imagi-nation and try to show it to the students. He should be able to read for content and form. Conscious mastering of the content of the text is a prerequisite for ensuring the expressiveness of the reading. Expression is an important factor that increases awareness. Some-times the student has slurred speech, fails to pronounce certain words clearly while speaking quickly, or omits suffixes.
