The 20th century was the period of existence of the nation, struggle for self-assertion. The formation of the national self-consciousness of the Azerbaijani people in this period was directly related to the service of critical realism. It is known that one of the signs that make up the concept of nation is national self-awareness. National self-awareness is a conscious understanding of belonging to one or another nation. In M.A.Sabir's satire, the social classes and factions emerging on the basis of newly emerging bourgeois relations call for a struggle for national unity. Awakening national consciousness, achieving national unity and thinking was Sabir's artistic credo and artistic concept. The poet started the fight and struggle for his artistic credo from "the beginning of the work" – upbringing. In Sabir's educational school, there was no class or caste discrimination.
