Research and Publication of Azerbaijan Children's Literature Created in XIX Century

ABSTRACT  

The 19th century is the period of formation of Azerbaijani children's literature. It was during this period that our writ-ers, poets and educators such as A. Bakikhanov, S. A. Shir-vani, S. Valibayov, R. Efendizade, H. Garadaghi, M.T.Sidgi fought selflessly for the creation and promotion of children's literature. The nature, essence, and directions of those activities are interpreted in the literary-historical aspect. The article examines the creativity of these enlight-ened authors who work in the direction of the formation of children's literature and create valuable examples of chil-dren's literature. Scientific information is given about the publication of children's literature samples created by them in various publications from the moment of their creation until today. At the same time, it is emphasized that re-searches are conducted in the direction of researching cer-tain aspects of the creativity of the mentioned authors. Making relevant observations, we focus our attention on some aspects of these works and dwell on the problem of their detailed study and publication.
