National Memory in Nariman Hasanzade’s Work “Atabeyler”: Yesterday and Today

ABSTRACT
In the article, the comparison of national memory, history and the present day in the play “Atabeyler” by the Azerbaijani writer Nariman Hasanzade was involved in the research. The content of the play is rich in historical information that has come as a legacy to our modern times. Fa-miliarizing with the research can be useful for pupils and students to learn about our history and to better understand the main issues raised in this work that reflects our history. At the same time, the article includes the analysis of the main characters in the play and their significance in our history. Descriptive, comparative and observational methods were used in conducting the research.
