ABSTRACT
Today, there are certain rules and norms regarding punctuation. Sometimes their large number, sometimes the impossibility of applying them in practice, and sometimes conducting scientific considerations on literary texts cause certain difficulties. We find enough literature on punctuation. But we witness that most of the rules in them are repeated. New ideas should be formed in this field, researches should be conducted. Controversial and unequivocally accepted issues should be clarified, and these issues should be included in the "Syntax" section of both secondary and higher school grammar. In our opinion, certain conventional signs used in social networks today can also be sys-tematized.
