ABSTRACT
The article discusses a number of difficulties encountered in teaching our classical literature, especially M. Fuzuli's works, in higher and secondary schools. It is shown that certain problems arise during the teaching of examples of the poet's life and creativity and artistic heritage in higher and secondary educational institutions. Solving and eliminating these problems requires certain knowledge, competence and skills from teachers. One of the difficulties encountered is the students' assimilation of the subject, idea-content, and artistic features of the sect-themed works. Without considering these ideas, it is impossible to objectively assimilate the creative products of a number of our classical artists to pupils and students. Our opinion is explained in the article mainly with reference to certain works of Muhammad Fuzuli. During the commentary, the author of the article focuses on the works of the mentioned artist, which are taught in both high school and secondary school, gives examples of his creativity and analyzes them in terms of the requirements of the topic. During the analysis, the value and importance of sect ideas both at that time and today, as well as issues of craftsmanship are touched upon.
