ABSTRACT
In the article, certain results were obtained based on the observations made on the period, literary environment, life and creativity of Fatma Khanum Kamina, one of the outstanding figures of the 19th century Azerbaijani literature. In this period, the clarity and liveliness of the language of poetry became a more noticeable quality. Classic literary genres are already undergoing a strong evolutionary process, the artistic language has entered a new course of development that is different from previous times. In the poet's work, there were artistic images and means of expression taken from real life, which indicated the strengthening of the trend towards vitality and realism in the 19th century Azerbaijani lyric poetry.
