Reading Skills in Azerbaijani Lessons to Develop

ABSTRACT

The preparation of the Azerbaijani language teaching methodology in primary grades is of great relevance. It is known that language is a system in which there are consistent, homogeneous and generalizing rules. Young schoolchildren are taught different areas of the Azerbaijani language (lexicology, phonetics, orthoepy, spelling, morphology, syntax, stylistics...), to provide simple theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and habits, to ensure the development of written and oral speech, thinking, to form a sensitive attitude to language, to prepare them for studying the systematic course in the senior classes, etc. such work is carried out. Accordingly, the purpose of the science of the methodology of teaching the Azerbaijani language in primary grades is to prepare the boundaries, volume and content of knowledge, skills and habits to be given to students in the course on this subject, to explore effective means and ways of work to be carried out in this area, to prepare a methodological system.
