Genre Variety of Publicistic Style of Military Texts

ABSTRACT

The article talks about the stylistic features of military texts. The significance and importance of journalistic style texts were emphasized. Military discourse genres in journalistic style are also listed. The role of journalistic style texts in the formation of students' speech culture, as well as in the teaching of the English language, has been noted. The most typical genres of journalistic style − interview, overview, commentary and briefings, which are used more recently, are reported, examples are given, and comparisons are made. The use of military texts in military educational institutions will help to improve the language skills of cadets and enrich vocabulary in the military field in the future. Also, I think my scientific article is relevant in terms of functional style. The article is also a helpful supply in the students' choice of style.
