ABSTRACT
The article talks about the scientific activity of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Vagif Tapdig oghlu Gurbanov. From the analysis of the scientist's work, it is known that his works dedicated to different fields of Azerbaijani linguistics (mainly the field of methodology) shed light on a number of controversial issues of Azerbaijani linguistics, and the young generation studying in higher and secondary schools are more efficient and effective in their mother tongue. the rules of assimilation, the means and methods of these rules are interpreted on the basis of existing scientific principles. In the process of perception, the effectiveness of intra-fan relationships is especially emphasized.
