About the Subject "Poetic Linguistics of the Azerbaijani Languag

ABSTRACT

The article talks about the poetic features of the Azerbaijani language. For this purpose, the goals and tasks of the subject "Poetic Linguistics of the Azerbaijani Language" are explained, its specific object and subject is justified, the ancient history and richness of the poetic language is noted. Especially in the process of development of the poetic language of Azerbaijan, the semantic abundance of words and the breadth of the language's internal possibilities are noteworthy. In the article, the inclusion of in the list of philological sciences is praised. In this regard, the attitude towards the name of the subject is reported. So, until now the name of the subject was called "Linguistic Poetics". From a scientific and logical point of view, this name is not considered correct, and it is suggested that the name of the subject be changed to "Poetic Linguistics" or "Poetic Language Studies". Factual materials are used to substantiate this opinion.
