The Function of Language in the Formation of National Identity

ABSTRACT
Human
life and social processes are not made up of coincidences. Everything that is
thought, felt and done is based on an absolute cause and an expected result.
From this point of view, the future of man and society is formed on the
accumulated experience of the past. Experience and memory play a key role in
this process. The concept that is formed as a result of these two factors and
defines a person or society is identity. The main purpose of the article is to
analyze the research of some researchers on the existence of the development of
a society without culture and history, and consequently, without the formation
of a national identity. In the article, the author emphasizes that in the
absence of these factors, both individuals and society are helpless and
helpless. The importance of the study is to present a brief chronology of these
topics by examining the historical relations of language and the issue of
identity.
