treasure of our people. The history of each language is closely connected with
the history of the people and nation that bear that language. Therefore, it is
necessary to base ourselves on history when determining the history of the
formation and formation of the language. In order to maintain the relevance of
the topic, it is considered more appropriate to conduct this historical
research in two directions:
1. Research into the history of the
development of the language.

of the language under different names.
The modern Azerbaijani literary language
has reached its current level of development after going through long stages.
As in all nations, the language of the Azerbaijani people is one of the main
factors determining its national existence. The history of the development of
the Azerbaijani literary language is divided into the following periods:
I period - the period of
formation and gradual development of the Azerbaijani literary language (V-XVIII
centuries)
II period -
the period of complete stabilization of the Azerbaijani literary language (XIV
century)
III period -
the period of development of the Azerbaijani literary language (the period from
the beginning of the XX century to the present day). The typological division
of languages is based on morphological structure, while the genealogical
division is based on kinship origin. According to typological classification,
