The Poem "Dastani-Ahmed Harami" at a New Level of Analysis

ABSTRACT
The article consists of an introduction, research method, objectives, results obtained from the research, discussion, final conclusion and a list of literature. In the introduction, brief information about the topic of the article − traces of oral folk literature and multicultural values in medieval Azerbaijani literature are provided. In the discussion section, the poem “Dastani-Ahmed Harami”, which is an example of our first native literature, is presented as an object of analysis. During the discussion, multicultural values were examined using the comparative historical method. Based on the analysis of the main characters of the poem and examples from the work, national-moral values were studied and were analyzed. The results obtained from the problems discussed are presented in the results section. In general, in the article, a comparative analysis was conducted by approaching the work from the perspective of multicultural values within the framework of new problem directions put forward by modern literary criticism.
