ABSTRACT
With the gaining of state independence of Azerbaijan, a new approach to the past began, and the tendency to reflect objective historical truths in the science of history, as well as in the art of speech, intensified. In recent decades, there has been great interest in opening up the forbidden pages of our history, as well as reworking the misspelled points; our literature is enriched with beautiful, respectable works that reflect the complex socio-political processes that took place in Azerbaijan a century ago and are considered an artistic expression of the time. The article discusses the events and personalities of Bakhtiyar Vahabzade, Chingiz Huseynov, Gabil, Nariman Hasanzade, Huseynbala Miralamov, Yunus Oguz, the history of our national struggle, and the work done to make them artistic.
