ABSTRACT
The
study shows that without acquiring knowledge about Sufism and Hurufism in the
learning process, without understanding the essence of this system of religious
and philosophical views, it is impossible for schoolchildren to deeply
assimilate the artistic heritage of many leading representatives of our
classical literature. In this regard, the lack of adequate coverage of these
issues in modern literature textbooks and methodological aids for upper grades
poses a serious educational problem. School experience shows
that in a number of cases, students have difficulty in determining the
differences between these sects and, as a result, comprehending the ideological
content and artistic features of the studied work. When studying literature of
the 13th–16th centuries in the 10th grade of secondary schools, it is necessary
to clarify for students the essence of Sufism and Hurufism sects, their
differences, and their connection with the art of artistic speech.
