ABSTRACT
The work of Seyfaddin Daghli, one of the prominent
representatives of Azerbaijani literature, is multifaceted and rich. His
literary activity has made significant contributions to the development and
enrichment of Azerbaijani literature. The article highlights the work of
Seyfaddin Daghli, the author of numerous feuilletons, stories, novellas,
miniatures, ballads, comedies and novels, as a master of satirical
storytelling. This satirical writer, distinguished by his sharp pen, played an
important role in the development of Azerbaijani literature. The target of his
criticism and satire was the socio-moral shortcomings of modern society. The
writer, who had a deep ability to observe, tried to correct negative types by turning
them into objects of laughter through clear and simple language in his
satirical stories.
