ABSTRACT
Speech
is one of the most important and complex components of personality development.
The development of speech in primary school students plays a key role in their
education, socialization, adaptation and mental development. This process
allows students to develop speech skills, establish mutual communication and
clearly express their thoughts to others. In this sense, fairy tales are of
great importance in the development of speech in children. When listening to a
fairy tale, mutual communication occurs between the reader and the listener,
the child's mental activity is fully activated. The student, who forms an image
of the characters in the fairy tales he reads or listens to, learns to compare
good, bad, right and wrong while watching the events. Fairy tales are stories
that affect the social, cultural and psychological development of children,
open the way to their world of dreams, and good deeds always win. It is known
that similar motifs are often found in fairy tales of different peoples, but
specific national features specific to the people always come to the fore,
thanks to which children become closely acquainted with the national ethnic
heritage of their country. So, fairy tales allow young schoolchildren to
recognize their national and cultural roots and continue their life path based
on their cultural values. Therefore, it is extremely important to encourage
children to take advantage of this necessary experience. Over time, the period
when fairy tales were an integral part of human life is behind us, but interest
in them often does not change. Because every time you read fairy tales, you can
discover new and useful ideas. A fairy tale instills confidence in children,
proves to them that the impossible is possible, in short, it helps them look at
the world from a different perspective.
