From the Experience of Teaching the Subject “Business and Academic Communication in the Azerbaijan Language” in at Higher Education Institutions

ABSTRACT
For several years now, all first-year students of higher education institutions, regardless of their major, have been taught the subject “Business and Academic Communication in Azerbaijani”. This subject is an integrative subject and combines knowledge from several fields of study within this subject. The purpose of teaching the subject is to teach students the oral and written communication skills necessary for their future business or academic activities. To achieve this goal, students are taught business and academic communication skills, as well as speech, oratory, and presentation skills, using various methods and techniques. Overall, by studying this subject, students are formed in accordance with the business and academic requirements of the modern world and acquire fundamental knowledge. With the knowledge gained from the subject “Business and Academic Communication in the Azerbaijani Language”, students in both business and academic environments acquire a scientific theoretical and practical basis for a successful future, which plays a very important role in the life of every young person.
