ABSTRACT
In today's world the preservation of national identity, and in particular of the folklore is very important. Children need to be aware of infancy tenderness, fragility, purity and beauty of the native language. Mothers at the cradle try to absorb the beauty of the language into the spirit of the child with the help of lullabies, bayatis and caressing rhymes. Position of preserving this heritage is primarily dependent on the mothers, and then on teachers. The article also focuses on the role of legend and legendin increasing the spiritual wealth of children and their growth as perfect individuals. The article investigates the im-portance given to the development of folk examples in as well as ways to better use of modern methods in its teaching. Many studies have investigated the spiritual significance and educational value of legend and legendin.
