ABSTRACT

Azerbaijan has a long and turbulent history that has grown into a multinational country enriched by religious, national and ethnic minorities. Mutually tolerant relations established between different sects, ethnic and national minorities allow them to feel safe and comfortable in these land, and despite to have different cultures,  they could live together without getting bored, read comfortably in their mother tongue and worship the religions they believed in. These values, which have been transferred from centuries to the present, are still preserved and transferred to future generations as a result of a successful state policy. The policy carried out in the direction of proper regulation of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity in our country has promoted Azerbaijan as a multicultural and tolerant state all over the world. It is no coincidence that these values are at an enviable level today. Historical research confirms that its pillars are the thinkers of our literature, journalism, and the history of public opinion in general. In all examples of their works we see a description of multicultural mood and tolerant attitudes.
