ABSTRACT
The article talks about the
importance, organization and characteristics of essay writing in secondary schools.
Essay writing is one of the effective types of writing that develop students'
written and oral speaking skills. According to the topic, essays are divided
into several types: opinion essays, essays dedicated to landscape or portraits,
etc. The article also presents the requirements for the type of essay writing.
Thus, these writings have both connecting and separating aspects with essay,
expression and spelling writing types. The common and different aspects of the
writings have been clarified in the research work. Descriptive, observational
and comparative methods were used in writing the research.
