ABSTRACT
The
rich lexicon of the Turkic languages related to cultural, administrative, military,
everyday and state spheres has been an important source for the enrichment of
Turkic elements in the East Slavic languages, especially in the Russian language.
As a result, the vast majority of words borrowed from the Turkic languages
have gained a fundamental position in the Russian language and have become necessary
lexical units. We can further enrich and make this picture sustainable by
adding words from other Caucasian peoples to this series of words. During the
research process, our observations on the language of the works of writers such
as Pushkin, Griboyedov, Lermontov, Polezhayev, Polonsky, Bestuzhev-Marlinsky,
Lev Tolstoy, whose creative paths passed through the Caucasus, including
Azerbaijan, and whose activities were closely related to the Caucasian
countries, yielded successful results. The local words specific to Azerbaijani
Turkic that we discovered in their works, especially in works on the Caucasus
theme, reflect the life, everyday life, and people of the Caucasian peoples
with all their characteristic features.
